Drug surrenderer killed by pair riding in tandem

A 42-YEAR-old motorcycle-for-hire driver was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding gunmen in Sitio Gipon, Barangay Manatad, Sibonga at 7:07 p.m. last Saturday.

Chief Insp. Stephen Amamagid, town police chief, identified the victim as Renie Sarona Cabal, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in different parts of his body. He said that the murder could be drug-related because the victim was a drug surrenderer. He surrendered last year. The victim was ferrying a passenger before the incident happened. The culprits were waiting for him nearby. KAL
