AN ACCUSED drug pusher is facing charges before the court after he was arrested last month in a drug bust operation conducted by the Sta. Ana Police in Quezon Boulevard, Davao City.

Charged with violation of The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is Janssen David Tan alias Janssen.

In a resolution dated February 1, prosecutor Joy Bernales Largo found probable cause to charge the accused based on the complaint filed by the Sta. Ana Police Station.

Largo said the complaint was resolved after the accused opted not to avail his right to preliminary investigation.

"It appears that the accused has been lawfully arrested without a warrant pursuant to the Revised Rules of Criminal Procedure and that probable cause exists to hold him for trial for the offense," Largo said.

Attached to the complaint-affidavit is the chemistry report of the Police Regional Crime Laboratory Office which stated that the evidence submitted was positive with methamphetamine hydrochloride.
