Fil-Sino invitational cagefest set

THE Fil-Sino Athletic Club in Bacolod City holds its 1st Invitational Open Basketball Tournament for 2017 starting this January.

Dubbed the Fil-Sino Athletic Club Asia Brewery Invitational Cup 2017, the tournament kicked on January 16 for Class B while Class A games will commence January 22.

Games will be held at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Joining Class A are Blitz/Choi Sportswear, with team owner Botsoy Solinap, AX Currency Exchange, organized by Jeremy Coo, Trish & Tessa Mdse.-Supertwins (Lavalle), owned by Allan Mallari; Team TGBC Talisay City, managed by Mayor Neil Lizares and Talisay Sports Coordinator Renel Garcia.

Ice Sportswear, represented by Luigi Herrera, PMT Clothing (Homesite), organized by Daniel Hilado and Allen John Sanchez, and Shakey’s-Probac, owned by Julius Asistio and managed by Etoy Zuñiga.

The remaining teams will be composed of Fil-Sino Team A Selections.

Under Class B category are The Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod/Rexidol headed by Monroe Chua, ESJ & Sons organized by Bryan Javelosa, and six Fil-Sino Team B Selections.

All teams will carry various Asia Brewery brands such as Beer na Beer, Colt 45, Brewkettle, Asahi, Tanduay Ice, Sunkist, Nestea, Vitamilk, Creamy Delight, Summit, Absolute, Barista, Heineken, Tiger Beer, Manila Beer Light, Cobra, Coco Fresh, and Ultimo.
