THE Tagum Biz-Talk at Big 8, a media forum on business, economics and tourism covering Davao del Norte and Compostela Valley was launched recently at Big 8 Corporate Hotel, jointly spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the City Government of Tagum through the City Information Office (CIO).

The holding of the monthly Biz Talk will serve as a great source of information especially on business, economic and tourism industry that will help the city to be development-oriented.

Kicking off the said forum was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the parties witnessed by the members of the media from the cities of Davao and Tagum.

The forum was attended by Big 8 Corporate Hotel general manager Roxan Obregon, PIA Davao regional director Efren Elbanbuena, Department of Tourism (DOT) director Art Boncato and City Mayor Allan L. Rellon who served as the guest panelists during its maiden episode.

The Biz-Talk will be held every 2nd week of Tuesday every month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Big 8 Corporate Hotel.

Rellon said in an interview, he was thankful for the media as the partner in pushing Tagum attain its goals especially under his Eagle Wings program.
