A FREE seminar on Investor Information will be held on November 16 and 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the MassKara Hall of the Bacolod City Government Center.

The seminar will be conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in partnership with the Bacolod City Government through the Council on Gender and Development (GAD), Bacolod Business Development and Promotions Center (BBDPC), Business Permits and Licensing Division, and Councilor Cindy Rojas, chair of the City Council committee on women and gender.

SEC Commissioner Emilio Aquino and nine other SEC directors and officers will discuss topics like GAD’s Role in Capital Market, Microfinance and Lending, Investment Scams, Investment Products, and Company Registration System (CRS).

The BBDPC is inviting Bacolod-registered enterprises, business organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, local government units, local economic and investment promotions officers (Leipo) and potential investors to join the seminar.

Leipo Jonah Javier said a participant may choose to attend for one day only.

A total of 100 slots are available per day. Reservation is until Nov. 13 only.
