Jake Cuenca shares view on courtship

“RUBI” star Jake Cuenca does not believe on courting and instead prefers to build friendship first with a girl.

He also said he maintains a healthy relationship with his past girlfriends because the foundation is very solid.

Jake admitted that with co-Kapamilya star and host Melissa Ricks, he wanted to do the same thing.

“Hindi ako naniniwala sa ligawan pero sana gusto ko na magkaibigan tapos magka-developan sa ganung paraan mas makikilala ninyo ang isat't-isa.”

Jake is very frank in saying that he likes Melissa. He said they are now good friends.

“Klaro naman kaming dalawa. I admire her, she's very beautiful and a very smart lady at the same time yung friendship namin is in a different level,”

He also cleared rumors that they were seen on a date. “Pag lumalabas kami eh as a group. Hindi ko naman itinatanggi na lumalabs kami. We have similar friends and nakiki-join naman kami kasi kaibigan naming.”

The two were reportedly was seen in a church attending a mass.

“Hindi naman masamang mag simba diba. Kung iniimpluwensyahan ka naman ng isang tao religiously speaking eh okay naman,” he said.

With all the news on his closeness to the Melissa, Jake assures the supporters of Matt-Melissa love team that he will never be a hindrance.

In fact, Jake said he is one of the loyal supporters of the two.

“Isa ako sa tumatangkilik sa love team ni Matt and Melissa at hindi ako magiging handlang sa kanila,” he added.
