A MAN was shot dead by a still unidentified gunman in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City, Friday afternoon, January 26.

The victim was identified as Luther Lavares, 42, who worked at the Cebu Country Club, according to the Cebu City Police Office Homicide Section.

Lavares was driving his vehicle when he was shot by the gunman.

The victim's vehicle hit the front portion of a car showroom near the Banilad Talamban road in Barangay Kasambagan after he lost control of the wheel.
