Man dead in stabbing incident in Sibonga, Cebu

A JOBLESS man was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law around 10:17 p.m., Saturday, May 13, in Barangay Simala, Sibonga, southern Cebu.

Police identified the victim as Elmer Lubas, 40, who succumbed to multiple stab wounds, while the suspect was Rolando Espe Zamora, a trisikad driver.

Investigation showed Lubas was walking alone when he was hit in the head with a bottle by Zamora. Zamora stabbed the victim and fled. (SunStar Cebu)
