PRICES of mangosteen dropped by more than two folds from P100 a kilo to only P35 to P40 a kilo in time for the 29th Kadayawan Festival celebration.

Vendors source out their mangosteen supply from the Calinan, Davao City.

According to fruit vendors at Magsaysay Fruit Vendors Association, consumers can expect prices of rambutan, lansones, marang and durian as well to go down.

They are also expecting more sales days leading to the festival proper. The city will have sufficient supply of these fruits until October.
