No. 1 ‘most wanted’ in Victorias arrested

THE number one most wanted in Victorias City, Negros Occidental and his father were arrested in a joint operation of operatives of Victorias City Police Station and Salvador Benedicto Municipal Police Station at Barangay Igmaya-an of said town Tuesday morning.

Police identified the suspects as Ramil Parreñas, 22, and his father Ramon, 49, both residents of Hacienda Maglo, Barangay 12, Victorias City.

Superintendent Santiago Rapiz, chief of Victorias City Police Station, said both suspects were arrested for murder with no bail and for frustrated murder with P200,000 bail each.

The arrest warrants of the suspects were issued by Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of Regional Trial Court Branch 40, Silay City.

Rapiz said father and son were hiding in Salvador Benedicto for a year after they killed their neighbor.

He added that they are waiting for the court’ commitment order so they can turn over the suspects to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
