NOPPO undergo bomb identification and detection confab

AROUND 50 personnel of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noppo) underwent a bomb identification and detection seminar, which was held at Kanla-on Hall of Camp Alfredo Montelibano on Monday.

Noppo spokesperson Rico Santotome Jr. said the participants came from the 31 city and municipal police stations all over the province, as well as from Negros Occidental Provincial Public Safety Company.

Police Superintendent Armando Tubongbanua, Noppo deputy provincial director for operations, was the lecturer for the half-day seminar.

Tubongbanua spoke on topics such as bomb identification and detection, bomb threats and other related subjects.

The activity was conducted in line with the "Action Plan: Team Negros," particularly in transforming the Negros Occidental police into a more capable, professional, motivated and respected public servants.
