A MANAGER of a banana plantation was arrested by police for indiscriminate firing in Purok Everlasting, Barracks Compound, Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City on Thursday morning.
The suspect is identified as Alony Llaban, 60, manager of Soriano Banana Plantation and resident in the area.
Based on reports from the Tagum City Police Station, the suspect fired his caliber .9 mm gun at around 8 a.m. Thursday, which made his neighbors seek police assistance.
Police recovered the caliber .9 mm gun with serial number TT 166768.
The suspect, who is now temporarily detained, is also facing charges as the license of the firearm expired last June 8. (Marvin Pineda)
