Police not divulging leads in architect slay

A SPOKESPERSON of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said they gathered some leads for the possible apprehension of the suspect who shot dead an architect over the weekend.

But the DCPO is still not revealing the leads so as not to disrupt the ongoing manhunt operation.

DCPO spokesperson Police Senior Inspector Milgrace Driz said they are still waiting for the warrant of arrest to be released to legally arrest the suspect who was identified as Engr. Rosam Giger Jr.

"May mga leads naman tayo but hindi muna namin irereveal yung details para hindi mahinto yung operation. Nafile na sa court kahapon yung murder charges. Once may mairelease na arrest warrant, ise-serve nalang natin yung warrant sa suspect," Driz said Wednesday.

"The Sta. Ana police are intensifying our man-hunt operation to arrest the suspect," she added.

Driz said they do not have determined specific timeframe but said they are committed to solve the case.

She reiterated that the suspect should turn himself to the authorities before it's too late.

"Mas maganda mag-surrender nalang siya sa atin (It would be better if he surrenders)," she said. (KRP)
