ROBBERY gang men have seized the five-year-old child of a couple they robbed of more than P20,000 in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported.

Seized by robbery gang men was Alexa Dela Cruz, the daughter of couple Alejandro and Minda, of Kima village, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Zamboanga Peninsula police information officer Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca said the Dela Cruz family was watching television when a group of gunmen barged into their residence around 9:35 p.m. Saturday.

Huesca said the robbers carted away more or less P20,000 cash and escaped also bringing with the couple’s daughter, Alexa.

Investigation continues to determine the whereabouts of the child, Huesca said.(Bong Garcia)
