CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The City Government of San Fernando has launched its "Libreng Sakay sa E-Jeep" as part of the observance of the National Environmental Awareness Month and National Clean Air Month.

The roundtrip e-ride aboard the 12-seater electronic jeepney procured by the City Government last year for tourism purposes will transport commuters from Heroes Hall to City Hall for free until November 22.

"Aside from using it for our heritage tours, we want to maximize our e-jeep to promote environmental awareness," said Mayor Edwin Santiago who has environmental protection among his administration’s priorities.

Hourly trips from Heroes Hall start at 8 a.m. while the last trip is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. from the City Hall.
