POP Princess Sarah Geronimo feels blessed that she is now in a relationship with Cebuano actor Matteo Guidicelli.

"Thankful naman tayo sa Diyos (with) everything that is happening. Na-bless din ako ng ganitong klaseng relationship, ng ganitong klaseng karelasyon kasi mabait na tao naman si Matteo. Mabait at talagang matiyaga," she said in "The Buzz" interview.

The singer confirmed last week her blossoming romance with the actor.

She said she admitted the real status of their relationship to prevent some people from making speculations, buzz or rumors about it.

The singer also shared that she finally met Guidicelli's parents, whom the latter said approves of his girlfriend.

"Okay naman. Napakabait ng pamilya ni Matteo," Geronimo quipped.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently in the United States for a series of shows for The Filipino Channel (TFC). But before he left, Guidicelli reacted to observation of some that Geronimo's parents approves of him.

He said the singer deserves all the happiness.

"Let's face it, I'm 24 and she's 25. We're young adults. She can make her own decision and I can make my own decision also. She deserves it, she deserves all the happiness." (Sunnex)
