Senator: More projects for Iloilo under a united leadership

SENATE President Franklin Drilon said government projects are coming up for the city and province of Iloilo before the term of President Benigno Aquino III expires in 2016.

Drilon said over the weekend that the economic boom and progress in the province is brought about by a united city and provincial leadership in support of the President.

Among the many projects are the rehabilitation of the Iloilo River, construction of the river Esplanade, relocation housing project in Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo Convention Center, circumferential road, diversion road widening, new port at Lapuz side of Muelle Loney and the biggest dam project outside of Luzon, the Jalaur River Multi-purpose Project (JRMP).

Drilon said these projects are made possible with the help of the President anchoring on the unified and cooperative local government leadership.
