THE LISTING is still ongoing for the Visayag Leg of the Shell National Youth Active Chess Championships 2015 which will happen this weekend at the SM City-Cebu Event Center.

This year, the Shell tournament will have three divisions – the Kiddies (7-12 years old), Juniors (13-16) and the Seniors Division (17-20).

Entry in the Visayas Leg as well as the other three other succeeding legs are limited to just 300 for the three divisions.

We continue to innovate our tournament program to produce more competitive, top caliber athletes that will someday be our national pride,” said Shell social investment manager Jackie Ampil.

The three other qualifiers will be held at the SM Cagayan de Oro Event Center on July 18-19 for Northern Mindanao, SM Davao Annex Event Center on Aug. 8 and 9 for Southern Mindanao and at the SM Batangas Event Center on Aug. 15 and 16 for the Southern Luzon.
