ANG paningkamot sa disaster preparedness sa lungsod sa Dumanjug sa Sugbo nakakita sa benepisyo gikan sa SMS advisory platform sa Smart Communications, Inc., ang wireless subsidiary sa PLDT.

Ang Infocast, usa ka web-based program developed sa Smart, mohatag og gahom sa Dumanjug local government unit sa pagpadala og news broadcasts, weather bulletins, ug ubang critical information ngadto sa mga lumolupyo pinaagi sa text message.

Ang programa magtugot sa pagpadala og free text broadcasts ug makadawat ang registered subscribers sa pagkonektar sa ubang Infocast members pinaagi sa komon ug unique access code sa paghimong epektibo sa emergency communications solution.

Ang sistema mopalapad sa pa­ningkamot sa komunikasyon ngadto sa mas daghang users, diin naglakip sa LGUs, government agencies, ug ubang organisasyon, sumala ni Smart Visayas-Mindanao public affairs head Maria Jane Paredes.
