ALL games of the Shakey’s Girls V-League Season 13’s pre-qualifying tourney in Cagayan de Oro will be played beginning on Saturday at the St. Mary’s School’s covered court in Barangay Macasandig.

The SMS Fiat, fronted by Erika Raagas and Kaye Navarro, leads the cast of at least 15 teams dueling it out in the much-awaited event which starts at 7:30 a.m.

Also competing are the Capitol University Basic Education Department (Cubed), Angelicum Learning Center, MOGCHS, Merry Child School, Oro Christian Grace School, Bulua NHS, Carmen NHS, Tagoloan NHS, Corpus Christi School Pueblo, Puerto NHS, PN Roa NHS, Opol NHS, Cobsat-Bugo and Xavier University High School.

Event coordinator Alex Adeva said last year’s top 3 team performers in Northern Mindanao—Iligan National High School, Libertad NHS and Corpus Christi-Macasandig—are already seeded to the regional finals to be hosted by Corpus Christi School on August 28-31.

They will be joined in by the top 4 teams in the Cagayan de Oro elimination and the respective champions of the other pre-qualifying legs in Northern Mindanao. (LLS)
