Snatcher falls

A 33-YEAR-OLD allegedly a snatcher was nabbed Wednesday afternoon at Gatuslao-Rizal Streets, Barangay 21, Bacolod City, the police said.

Police Station 1 head Chief Inspector Luisito Acebuche identified the suspect as Jesus Doromal of Purok Kansilingan, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.

Doromal was nabbed by a team of local policemen led by Police Officer 2 Joshua Barile at Gatuslao-Rizal Street for snatching the Samsung cellular phone worth P15,000 owned by Christian Rios of Caint Margarrette Streets, Dona Juliana, Bacolod City.

He added that the said unit was recovered from the possession and control of the suspect. Doromal is presently detained at Police Station 1 lock up cell prior to the filing of charges against him.

On the other hand, a murder case was already filed before the Office of Prosecutor against the suspect in the shooting incident in Barangay Tangub last week.

The suspect was identified as Ramonito Gasayataya, of Purok Paghedaet, Barangay, Bacolod City.
