Tax Notes: SEC adopts automated Company Registration System

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – Cebu Extension Office will fully adopt the online Company Registration System (CRS) starting Nov. 24, in line with the government’s initiatives to ease the conduct of doing business in the Philippines.

This means all applications for new corporations—including lending and financing—and partnerships must register only through the CRS.

The system can be accessed through crs.sec.gov.ph. The most compatible browser is Google Chrome.
