STAR Cinema has announced on Thursday, November 2 that Kim Chiu’s newest horror movie “The Ghost Bride” earned more than P14 million on its opening day.

The Cebuana actress thanked everyone who watched her movie which was released on Wednesday, November 1.

"All in his mighty name!!! Words can’t explain what I am feeling right now. Sobra. Salamat Panginoon, salaam direk Chito Rono, salamat Star Cinema at salaam po sa inning lahat ng nano sa first day namin kahapon,” she wrote.

Directed by Chito Rono, “The Ghost Bride” tells the story of a Chinese girl who ended up marrying a dead person for money.

The film also stars Alice Dixson, Christian Bables, Ina Raymundo and Cebu native Matteo Guidicelli. (SunStar Philippines)
