LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – In the recently concluded search for the friendliest barangay, five were dubbed to be the friendliest.
Barangays Pico, Puguis, Beckel, Ambiong and Alno are the best among the 16 barangays here.
The search was part of the annual Strawberry Festival which adopted the theme “Surviving the Times, Moving Forward.”
Barangay activities highlighted this year’s celebration, empowering the 16 barangay with farmers’ workshops, agro-trade fairs of the areas’ top products.
The festival featured a barangay culinary, sports and cultural events.
Mayor Artemio Galwan dubbed the Strawberry Festival a success despite the absence of a lavish street dancing and a parade of floats.
