VICE Mayor Daniel Fariñas proposed guidelines on trade fairs, open markets and night markets.
If approved by the City Council, the city will require organizers of trade fairs and similar events to use uniform, sanitary and modern fabricated stalls, especially within the city’s parks and other public places.
Fariñas also proposed that the organizers must secure the Buildings and Architecture Office’s approval first on the layout and design of the tents or stalls before requesting the approval from the City Council and securing the appropriate permits from the treasury office. (Visha Calventas)
