MANILA -- Environmentalist Nicanor Perlas announced Friday the endorsement of five Muslim organizations to his presidential bid.

The groups, who pledged at least 200,000 votes for the 60-year-old former government consultant are the following:

* Islamic Religious Affairs

* Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) returnist group

* Lanao del Sur Sultanate Coalition Movement

* Lanao del Norte Sultanate Group Movement

* Insan Organization Group
