A WALKATHON is slated on Sunday, February 7, in support of former defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr., who is seeking the presidency in the coming May 10 polls.
Dubbed as "Baktas Para Kay Gibo, Baktas Para sa Kalambuan," the walkathon is initiated by young volunteers who have formed themselves as Green Team Davao.
The event will start at 5:30 a.m. Sunday and shall cover the route from Freedom Park down Ponciano Street then off to San Pedro Street, Bankerohan area, to Sandawa then to Quezon Bouelvard and back to Freedom Park.
Registration is free and participants are encouraged to wear green.
"Sunday is green day. Wear green and let's paint Davao green," organizers said.
