WATCH: Coco Martin accepts FPJ Memorial Award

COCO Martin wishes to continue the legacy of the late King of Philippine Movies Fernando Poe Jr.

On Monday, seasoned actress Susan Roces personally handed the trophy for the Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award to Martin after he failed to attend the 63rd FAMAS Awards last Sunday because of prior commitment in Naga City.

Roces said Martin is deserving of the award.

Martin will reprise FPJ's role in the television adaptation of 1997 hit drama-action flick "Ang Probinsyano," which is slated for September 28 release. (Sunnex)
