XU to host CCP’s arts management intensives

XAVIER Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) has been chosen to host the “Arts Management Intensives” of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) through its cultural management division – arts education department on June 25-26 at XU Little Theater (XULT).

This lecture-workshop series is intended for artists (musicians, filmmakers, singers, dancers, directors, actors, writers, architects, designers, among others), cultural workers, production managers, producers, museum curators, tourism officers, and teachers of Humanities, Special Program for the Arts (SPA), MAPEH and K to 12 arts track.

Speakers of AMI include experts: Nestor Jardin on Creative Industry; Luwin de la Concha on Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights; Dennis Marasigan on Arts Marketing; Dr. Steven Patrick Fernandez on Social Media Marketing; and Diwa Felipe de Leon on Online Platforms.

At the end of the AMI series, it is hoped that the participants will have a deeper understanding of the various concepts of the arts and become advocates of the creative industry who will provide value and support to its growth in the Philippines.

Registration fee is P500, inclusive of kits and certificates. The event starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. for the said two days. (PR)
