“I will join the delegation. We will depart to Pagadian City on Saturday,” Atilano added.

He said the Zamboanga delegation has high hopes to earn medals in Taekwondo, Pengkat Silat, Swimming, Athletics and in some team sports.

“We focused (in our preparation) on individual events with the hope to regaining the championship crown,” he added.

Zamboanga City landed 3rd place in elementary and second in the secondary level in the 2016 ZPRAA meet.

“We hope to improve that standing this year since we studied where we failed to excel last year,” Atilano said.
