Angeles City logs 166 Covid 19 deaths

THE Angeles City government said a total of 166 individuals died from Covid-19, as of Saturday, April 10, 2021.

The City Health Office recorded 75 new active cases on Saturday, bringing the total active cases to 729.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. urged city residents to maintain discipline to avoid infection.

He also appealed to his constituents to observe health protocols and avoid mass gatherings to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Lazatin said 2,509 of the 3,404 total number of patients recovered from the virus.

The mayor earlier ordered the city police to screen individuals entering the city.

Lazatin said the local government started the vaccination of medical workers and other frontliners.

He also assured that Covid-19 vaccines will be provided to all Angeleños
