Angeles City records 26 Covid-19 deaths

ANOTHER coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patient in Angeles has died, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the city to 26 as of September 22, 2020.

The new fatality is from Barangay Balibago, the City Government stated in its recent bulletin.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city has climbed to 560 as of September 22.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said that 342 patients have already recovered from the diseease.

At present, there are 192 active cases of Covid-19 in the city.

The mayor reminded his constituents to practice minimum health standards and avoid crowded places.

He asked the residents to always wear face mask and shield and observe safe physical distance.

Lazatin also bared plans to make cashless and paperless all transactions at the city hall.

This is part of the City Government's measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, he added.
