DTI opens 16th Negosyo Center in Tarlac

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened Thursday, November 7, 2019, the 16th Negosyo Center in Tarlac located at the municipal compound of La Paz town.

DTI Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said the Negosyo Center aims to bring various government services to aspiring and budding entrepreneurs through business advisory services, training, business name registration assistance and registration for Barangay Micro Business Enterprises.

“We recognize the value and contributions of our entrepreneurs in our economic growth. The Negosyo Center will help the entrepreneurs as they are the lifeblood of our economy, product and service providers in our community and the income and employment generators of the people,” Ramirez said.

For his part, La Paz Mayor Venus Jordan stressed that the presence of DTI in their town will open opportunities to everyone who are interested in building their own business.

“This is another milestone for us. We now have a Negosyo Center that will train our entrepreneurs on the proper procedures and requirements in building their business. Moreover, this will provide assistance to business productions, management training programs and marketing assistance,” he said.

Jordan added that the facility is a good avenue in introducing the town’s products and services to the local and international market by enabling linkage and sustaining competitiveness. (PIA Central Luzon)
