MFC Assistant Vice President for Human Resource Management Marilou Olalia-Uy received the recognition during DOLE’s Labor Day celebrations.

Olalia-Uy was joined by MFC HR SV and Safety Officer Nanette Garcia and MFC Lead Safety Officer Roylan Canda.

DOLE Central Luzon Chief Geraldine Panlilio and DOLE Undersecretary Ana Dione were also present during the recognition ceremonies.

MFC has been a consistent recipient of DOLE’s safety seal.

MFC also received a citation for showing compliance to protocols set by the government as part of Covid-19 prevention. It has also been recognized for ticking the checklist required of companies on general labor standards, occupational safety, and health.

Aside from the safety seal award, MFC also passed the said requirements with no noted deviations during the inspection conducted on April 26.

The Porac-based international brand is one of the few local companies that hired workers during the height of the pandemic.
