TAIWAN-BASED CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice opened its newest branch at SM City Pampanga on December 1.

CoCo is the leading brand in the fresh tea beverage industry with 4,000 stores worldwide and counting. The brand uses premium tea leaves like ceylon, jasmine and mountain tea sourced from the finest locations of Sri Lanka, Taiwan and China.

According to CoCo Philippines representative Noel Manalastas, the brand selects only the finest whole leaf tea using the most stringent selection criteria.

"Our teas and juices are made from quality-sourced ingredients which are imported from Taiwan," Manalastas said.

Manalastas said that CoCo is recognized for adopting a global procurement policy in terms of sourcing the best seasonal fruits and other primary ingredients to ensure the quality of their products.

Cary Tumagan, also from CoCo Philippines, said that some of their signature drinks include Panda Milk Tea, Passion Fruit Tea Burst, and Lemon Dunk.

Panda Milk Tea is made from black tea with black and white pearls, while

Passion Tea Burst is made from fresh passion fruit with jasmine tea, pearl and coconut jelly. Lemon Dunk, on the other hand, is made from fresh whole lemons sourced from America, mixed with jasmine green tea.

Aside from these signature drinks, Tumagan added that they have a wide range of drinks from fruit teas, fresh teas, milk teas, latte to chocolate-based drinks.

"Whatever mood you're in for a tea drink, we got your craving covered," Tumagan said.

Present during CoCo's opening on December 1 were SM Supermalls officials Assistant Vice President for Operations in North Luzon Engineer Junias Eusebio and Regional Operations Manager North IV Andrea Maglangbayan. Also present was Colleen Manalastas from CoCo Philippines.

The new milk tea shop is located at SM City Pampanga's ground floor, in front of Cyberzone.

The SM City Pampanga branch is CoCo's fourth store in Pampanga. The other three stores are at SM City Clark, Marquee Mall, and Nepo Quad.
