Dog agility park opens at SM City Tarlac

MALLING experience is now more enjoyable not only for “hoomans,” but also for dogs, as SM City Tarlac opened its indoor Paw Park, a pet obstacle course for dogs for their much needed exercise under a monitored socialization.

Located at Lower Ground Floor near SM Food Court, the paw park features 5 dog agility obstacles which include adjustable tire jump, agility see saw, A-frame, dog walk ramp and adjustable dog hurdle.

Park use is free with a simple online registration. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dog park etiquette and safety rules will be observed.

Owners who wish to bring their dogs for safe dog socialization and exercise must bring dogs of at least 4 months of age and are up to date with all necessary vaccinations. Aggressive, disruptive, in heat, or ill dogs are not allowed. Owners may remove dog leash when inside the dog park, and must be returned before going outside the park. Owners are also requested to clean up and look after their own dogs both in and out of the dog park.

To practice social distancing, number of people allowed inside the park will be limited to four at a time. Children under 12 are not allowed inside without an adult.

With the opening of this doggy gates, “paw-rents” can now look forward to a safe community space not only for them, but also for their furbabies. (PR)
