SM Tela caps Castaway Music Festival 2023

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - It was the last but definitely not the least for Castaway Music Festival as it completed its trail this year at SM City Telabastagan on Sunday.

More than 3,000 audience were delighted with the performances of Filipino rap artists during the event held at the mall’s parking lot.

The last leg of the summer music fest featured some of the local rap artists in the country such as Lorenz, Ramdiss, Hero, and DJ JN Ruiz.

It was top-billed by one of the Philippine’s most sough-after rapper Al James who performed some of his hit singles “PSG” and “Repeat”.

SM City Telabastagan Manager Lana Erroba said the music event is the mall’s thanksgiving to its shoppers and promotion of local musicians.

“This is first Castaway of SM City Telabastagan after the pandemic, and just the second since it opened in 2019 so we really hoped to treat our shoppers to a night of fun entertainment,” Erroba said.

Al James thanked SM City Telabastagan for organizing such events that gives platforms to Filipino artists.

The Castaway Music Festival is Pampanga’s homegrown music festival which started at SM City Pampanga 10 years ago.

This year, the event featured music artists of different genres as it swept SM malls across North Luzon.

It started at SM City Pampanga on April 29 and went back home for its final leg on Sunday at SM City Telabastagan.
