12 cops, 3 police provincial offices feted

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- At least 12 deserving policemen of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon and three police provincial offices were given recognition during the Monday flag raising rites here Monday.

Given recognition by Chief Superintendent Amador Corpus, PRO-Central Luzon director, were Medalya ng Kadakilaan recipient Police Office (PO)3 Lacson Pataray for bravely saving a man from drowning along the stretch of Cagayan River in Cauayan, Isabela; PO1 Marvin Magyano received the Medalya ng Papuri for bringing a man with gunshot wound to the nearest hospital, while PO1 Ann Jerica Buenafe was awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for bagging the PNP Ms Makakalikasan title in the recent nationwide PNP Search for Ganda Pulis 2018.

Corpus said also awarded for Medalya ng Kasanayan to SPO2 Larry Aguilar, SPO1 Jamil Lugtu, PO3 Willy Pagarigan, PO3 Troy Valentino and PO3 Yockding Benzon, Jr; PO2 Mike Angelo Gabay and PO2 Raymond de Guzman for their efforts in providing mobility services during PRO-Central Luzon activities.

He said Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac police provincial police offices were given trophies for winning in the different categories of the simultaneous CDM competition held on May 1, 2018.

“The PNP is quick in giving rewards to deserving personnel and acknowledging their good deeds,” Corpus said.

He said PRO-Central Luzon will continue to recognize the exemplary performance of PNP personnel by giving of awards and commendations. (Ric Sapnu)
