13,000 cops in Central Luzon jabbed

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- More than 13,000 personnel of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon have been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

In the data released by PRO-Central Luzon Health Services Office, it showed that 13,116 policemen have received their first dose of vaccines, while 4,918 of them were already fully immunized.

From the total data, only 1,951 were inoculated at the regional office while the remaining 11,165 received their vaccines at their respective cities and municipalities.

Meanwhile, PRO-Central Luzon is already stepping up its vaccination drive as already started jabbing the families of its personnel.

PRO-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the move is aimed at protecting its personnel's families as they are also being exposed to the virus.
