THE Provincial Government of Pampanga awarded P15,000 to each of the 17 Capitol scholars from various academic areas who passed the recent board examinations of the Professional Regulations Commission.

The awarded included six passers from the field of education; three passers from the field of medical technology; three civil engineers; two criminology majors; one from the field of architecture; another from the field of geodetic engineering and one from physical therapy.

Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda himself personally extended assistance to the scholars. The successful board passers were presented their respective cash incentives in simple awarding ceremonies at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.

One of the passers was 24-year-old Camille Villegas, who graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education course at Don Honorio Ventura State University. According to her, Governor Delta was one of those who inspired him to pass the board examinations.

He added that during his four years in college until he passed the board examination, he was not neglected by the provincial government, under the Pineda administration.
