1K Kapampangans get free medical services

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Kapampangans from the second district of Pampanga flocked to the Lubao Municipal Gym on Tuesday, Nov. 15, to avail of free medical consultation and other services.

This is in line with the preventive health care program established by the provincial government of Pampanga.

The free medical services are under the "Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program" of Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda, and the Pampanga Provincial Board.

Vice Governor Pineda and 2nd District Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab greeted and looked at the other concerns of the 1,000 patients from the towns of Lubao, Floridablanca, and Sasmuan.

The officials were assisted by nurses and doctors from the Provincial Health Office and district hospitals led by Dr. Zenon Ponce.

The medical mission also included some volunteer doctors from the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) and private hospitals.

Aside from the free check-up, each patient also received free medicine, food packs, and cash assistance.

PSWDO Head Elizabeth Baybayan, and PCEDO Head Lulu Alingcastre also assisted in the said medical mission.
