2 more Covid-19 cases recorded in Minalin

TWO more individuals from Barangay Sto. Domingo in Minalin town have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the municipality to five.

Mayor Edgar Flores said the two additional cases both live in the same house and are direct contacts of patient 2, the first Covid-19 casualty of the town.

Flores said patient 7, a 17-year-old woman, and patient 8, a 19-year-old woman, were already brought to a government health facility for isolation.

Barangay Sto. Domingo, where all cases of Covid-19 are situated, has already been placed under enhanced community quarantine starting Monday, July 13, up to July 19.

As of Monday evening, July 13, the town has eight cases of Covid-19 with one recovery (patient 1), two casualties (patient 2 and 6), and five active cases.
