AT LEAST two additional vaccination sites were opened in the City of San Fernando, Pamapanga on Thursday, June 10, 2021, to ramp up the local government’s vaccination rollout, which is now progressing to the A3 category or individuals with comorbidities.

Our Lady of Fatima University (Olfu) and Walter Mart finally have been qualified by the Department of Health as vaccination hubs, backing-up Heroes Hall, the city’s first vaccination site.

These three sites are now simultaneously administering anti-Covid vaccines on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Medical Center, on the other hand, operates on Saturdays.

The City Health Office (CHO) said the expansion of its vaccination sites is a great help as they began the inoculation of the A3 group on June 11.

The CHO is now planning and restrategizing for a more effective and simultaneous administration of vaccines to Fernandinos. (PR)
