4 Covid-19 patients in Angeles City recover

FOUR Covid-19 patients in Angeles City have recovered on Monday, May 9, 2022.

On the same day, the City Government logged zero cases of coronavirus.

The city had eight active cases, as of May 9 -- two in Barangay Pampang, two in Balibago, one in Pandan, one in Cutcut, one in San Jose and one in Anunas.

No new mortalities related to the virus were recorded by the City Government, as of Monday.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr., who got reelected in the recent polls, appealed to the residents to continue observing health protocols as the pandemic is not yet over.

Some 14,137 out of the 14,685 total cases had recovered from the virus, the local government said.

A total of 540 persons living in the city have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
