4 Septuagenarians get Covid-19

FOUR residents in this agricultural municipality who are in their seventies have contracted the Covid-19 infection.

This was learned from the local government, which posted on its official Facebook page six new Covid-19 cases and four patient recoveries as of June 25, 2021.

The four septuagenarian patients included a 73-year-old woman from Barangay San Roque, a 75-year-old man from Barangay Sta. Cruz, a 71-year-old woman from Barangay Sta. Cruz and a 76-year-old man from Barangay San Pedro 1.

The local government is appealing to the public to always follow the minimum health standard set by the DOH to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mayor Romy Pecson urged his constituents to avail themselves of the Covid-19 vaccination program of the government.

The mayor said the local government unit has vaccinated the town's medical workers and other frontline workers.
