805 Kapampangans benefit from Capitol medical mission

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Some 805 Bantay Bayan members from 4th district towns benefited from the medical mission of the provincial government.

The program is under the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program.

Bantay Bayan members from Sto. Tomas, Sta. Ana, San Simon, and Apalit gathered at the Mexico Isolation Facility for the free screening examination conducted by volunteer doctors and nurses of the province led by Dr. Zenon Ponce.

Vice Governor Lilia Pineda met the doctors about the condition and operations of the women who underwent surgery after being detected to have tumors in the breast, ovary, and uterus, as well as those who were found to have kidney and gallstones.

The vice governor also urged Kapampangans who are sick not to hesitate and take advantage of the capitol's medical missions.
