92-year-old woman dies from Covid-19

A 92-YEAR-OLD woman residing in Barangay Santo Rosario, Magalang town recently died of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The patient, the 630th Covid-19 patient in Magalang, is one of the recent mortalities the local government recorded.

The Municipal Health Office reported two more deaths on May 24, 2021 -- Patients M652 and M674.

Patient 652 is a 78-year-old man residing in Barangay San Isidro, while Patient 674 is a 46-year-old man living in Barangay San Miguel.

As of May 24, 2021, the local government recorded a total of 736 Covid-19 cases with 605 recoveries, and 41 deaths.

At present, there are 105 active cases in the town.

Mayor Romy Pecson reminded his constituents to continue observing health protocols to prevent infection.

The mayor also urged the residents to register in the local government's vaccination list.

The local government has started providing vaccines for the people, particularly the frontline workers and other priority individuals.
