ARMED men suspected of being members of the Basag Kotse Gang carted away cash and personal belongings from a school principal in Barangay Calulut, City of San Fernando last Sunday, March 25.

Authorities said Mary Jane Gomez, 48, a school principal and resident of the said barangay, parked her Mitsubishi Montero (NDO-312) along the road before going inside a chapel to attend the Palm Sunday Mass at about 6 a.m. Sunday.

When she returned to her vehicle, Gomez said she noticed that the window glass of the right rear door has been shattered.

The victim told police that her handbag containing three Land Bank ATMs, passbook, jewelry worth P40,000, a Samsung J7 Cellphone, and P30,000 collection money is missing. She had placed that bag on the passenger seat.

Last week, suspected members of the Basag Kotse Gang also broke into an Isuzu Dmax parked along Nepomuceno street in Villa Victoria in Dolores, City of San Fernando.- (Ric Sapnu)
