MABALACAT CITY—A member of the Pampanga Provincial Board is leading the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare” program of the provincial government.

Pampanga First District Board Member Krizzanel "Win-Win" Garbo, daughter of Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, led the recent launching of the healthcare program in Barangay Dau.

Around 360 beneficiaries underwent biometrics, and blood extraction, and received MCG Cares card.

The MCG Cares card contains the medical history of a patient which healthcare professionals can use to provide effective treatment.

The card also allows beneficiaries to avail of free medicines and other healthcare services.

Garbo is currently the chairperson of the committee on health in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

She said the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare” program is a comprehensive wellness care initiative that provides medical consultation, basic laboratory services, and free medicines to constituents in need.

The program is also part of the efforts of the Office of Special Adviser of Flagship Programs for Health (OSAFPH) led by Dr. Jose Antonio Rivera to ensure that healthcare services are accessible to everyone, especially those in underserved areas.
