Capitol hosts medical mission screening in Mexico town

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Doctors and nurses from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and district hospitals in the province screened patients from the towns of San Luis, Sta Ana, Candaba, and Mexico for the province’s sponsored medical mission for indigents needing medical attention.

The screening was held at the Mexico Isolation Facility under the “Nanay Preventive Health Care Program” by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, and the Provincial Board. The program was conceptualized to provide preventive medical services for Pampanga’s different sectors.

About 88 patients were screened and assessed by doctors and other specialists.

All received free medicines, while others who needed urgent surgery were given a schedule at provincial and private hospitals.
